Saturday, August 18

Cinespia Summer Camp: Movies From Dusk til Dawn
Ever do this before: spend all night in a cemetery? Well this will be a fun dare as Cinespia hosts an all-night film fest featuring summer camp-themed movies — Wet Hot American Summer, Sleepaway Camp and Little Darlings. There will be DJs like Peanut Butter Wolf and Cut Chemist as well as photobooths, an arts and crafts corner, photobooths and free Intelligentsia pour-over coffee to keep you up all night long!

Sunday, August 19

This Little Piggy Went to the Brewery
Haven Gastropub in Pasadena is kicking off a new beer series where they pair up with a different brewery every month, featuring stellar brew and pork. This month’s brewery, Golden Road Brewing, will be bringing a bunch of its favorites as well as limited editions like Schwartz Stout on Espresso on cask and a cask Hudson Imperial Rye Porter! Guests can literally pig out on suckling pig, charcuterie and more at food stations.

Bow & Truss Launches Sunday Brunch
NoHo restaurant Bow & Truss will debut its new brunch this Sunday, running from 9am to 2pm. Take your pick of Latin-inspired items like almond butter crepes, stuffed breakfast tacos and chilaquiles. Naturally there will be cocktails like infused Bloody Marys and housemade sangria to suit your day drinking needs.

320 Main’s Tiki Throwdown
Question: Who created the best tiki drinks — Don The Beachcomber, Trader Vic, Steve Crane, Jeff “Beachbum” Berry or Martin Cate? Now’s your chance to find out at this special cocktail event where skilled bartenders Jason Schiffer, Matt “RumDood” Robold and Kelly Merrell (Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar) will be making the iconic tiki cocktails for your tasting and judging pleasure.
