First, before you freak out and think that I’ve traded cocktails for pressed juice, know that I’ve been spiking all my juices with booze. Heh. Kidding. But I do loves me some pressed juice, even more after my recent juice cleanse. So imagine my glee when I heard that a new juice bar was opening up the street from my house! The Clover juice bar opens today on La Brea. If you’re a gym rat, it’s conveniently next door to Moksha Yoga LA.
The new juice bar’s menu, which will change seasonally, boasts the usual suspects of wheatgrass and E3 Live shots as well as a selection of fresh cold-pressed juices like The Clover with kale, cucumber, celery, spinach, pear, cilantro, mint and lime and even detox favorite combo, Rev’d Up with lemon, cayenne pepper, Canadian maple syrup and filtered water.
Nommy-sounding shakes include Chia-Spa with chia seeds, frozen banana, dates, almond butter, almond milk and cinnamon. But standout features of The Clover include kombucha tea on tap, sandwiches by The Churchill‘s Chef Bruce Kalman, sweets by Charm City Cakes‘ Lauren Lobley and Stumptown coffee!
To get things started on the right foot, the juice bar is offering an in-store 25 percent discount off its juice cleanses just for its first week! They’re normally $70 a day. Choose from a 1-day package for $56, a 3-day for $157 or a 5-day for $262.
I haven’t tried their juice cleanse yet but it took a deal for me to try my first one so if you’ve always been curious about them then a deal is the best time to start.
