Dodger Stadium Blanket Night: Dodgers vs. Padres

Baseball games bore me, especially the ones on TV. I don’t care if those guys do wear tight pants. But I’m always down for having beer and hot dogs with a bunch of friends while a live game goes on in the background. And to attend a Los Angeles Dodger game is one of those must-dos every Angeleno should experience at least once. I, myself, have yet to but after hearing that Goldstar Events will be selling 50%-off tickets to Dodger Stadium’s Blanket Night for an L.A. Dodgers vs. San Diego Padres game, I’m thinking now is as good a time as any.

The discounted tickets for this game will be announced to Goldstar members on Monday. But I got a heads-up from their program manager that if you follow this link before Monday, you can get a jump on the $20-$30 tickets at 50% off. With the playoff race going, this is anticipated to be a sell-out game so get ’em while they’re hot. And the first 50,000 fans in attendance this night will receive a cozy fleece blanket with the Dodger logo on it.

Ticket sale prices:

  • First Level (Section 51) — $15 (originally $30)
  • Field Level (Sections 46-48) — $15 (originally $30)
  • Inner Reserve (Section 9) — $10 (originally $20)

Hey, maybe we can get enough COC readers to fill up an entire section!

I think there are only five or so active crackhead commenters. But we should pick a section and all buy tickets to that section. Whattaya think?

Only 5? Sounds good, but I think I may be in (gulp) Texas then.

For regular commenters, I think so. Aww, you can’t make it? Booo! Well, if anyone wants to know, I’ll be sitting in section 46-48.

Well, you could save an empty seat next to you to remind you of me, baking in Tejas.

  8. […] So when Goldstar Events had a promotion offering 50% off Dodger tickets on Fleece Blanket Night, I had to go. It was for the game against the San Diego Padres, Monday night. Yes, THAT game. […]
